According to the Gauls, the god Borvo used water to cure all. Reputed since ancient times for its miraculous spa, Bourbon-Lancy was dedicated to Borvo by the Romans . It's a place to recharge your batteries and for common mortals to get a taste of heaven. The Grand Hotel has revived ancient tradition, for your enjoyment as you find out about local history and focus on well-being. The former convent of the Visitandine nuns at the spa, built in the 18th century, has now become the Grand Hotel de Bourbon-Lancy. This splendid setting, steeped in history, offers stylish rooms, some of which overlook the arcades of the former cloister. The Grand Hotel and the Restaurant du Cloître are havens of peace, from which you can venture to visit major must-see sites in south Burgundy. Our spa is open free of charge to our hotel guests.
